Ok this the last leg of the Triple crown as this is the longest race going 1 1/2 miles so what that here is what I think of the field
1) Bourbonic - 1 of 3 Pletcher Horses in the 8 horse field should be closing late but deep closers really dont win the Belmont. I think the best he can do is 3rd or 4th in the race.
2) Essential Quality - Cox not having a good day today as I am writing this but horse has the genes to go this distance and all of a sudden I hear this horse cant chew gum and walk at the same time but horse has won 5 of 6 starts, comes 4th in the KD losing by a length and this horse waddles ok whatever solid horse to me should be stalking doesnt need to be up front sit 3rd to 5th and pounce around the final turn.IMO very dangerous horse see what happens but using him in the gimmicks.
3) Rombauer - Taking nothing away from his Preakness win as he drew off and won and he might well do it again in this race but Im passing I think he sits to far back as Im using him 2nd ,3rd and 4th.
4) Hot Rod Charlie - Should be near the front when the race goes off as he also is a very live horse here IMO as he should sit right near Rock Your World I think horse can win but can he Beyers have improved every race should be there at the finish.Use him in all spots in your gimmicks.
5) France Go de Ina - I will make this quick - No Chance Toss for me - Next
6) Known Agenda - 2nd of the Pletcher horses in the race had a bad trip in the KY Derby - Passed tiring horses to look a respectable 9th place but no Irad Ortiz but you get his brother Jose Ortiz.I still like him will be in stalking position and could pull of the upset here would not shock me a bit. But Im using hiim for 2nd 3rd and 4th.
7) Rock Your World - Bet on him in the KY derby and lost my ass as he didnt get out and got bumped and he was done.What I like about him he is bred to go the distance and should set the pace.What I dont like about him is that John Sadler is horrible in big races but Rosario is on him he will go set the fractions and play catch me if you can.Solid win contender to me .
8) Overtook - Last of the Pletcher horses and I think he could get the distance here not going to win but hit the board somewhere yes it could happen
